Looking for Pirate Movies? This guys has made a list of all Pirate Movies known to mankind and alphabetically ordered all three hundred and something and added his review:
Check out 300 + Pirate Movies :)
Started out with nr.1 which was a great movie, mostly about climbing and preserving nature with some nice surfing footage and a bit of sailing. Of course having your mast snap in half in the middle of the ocean and finding the one beautiful chick who surfs like a dude on Easter Island where you robinson crueso for a couple of months is pretty special though :) Loved the movie but for being a great sailing movie it should be more about sailing I guess. Checking out nr 2. after grilling my lamb chops.
ReplyDeleteAt 32 minutes I was going to shut nr.2 down because it was all about sailing but man this movie sucked untill than. Good thing my glass was empty and I really needed a refill after that awfull first half an hour. Just as I set of to zap to nr.3 the movie got some All Blacks spirit and snapped right back. When the guys grabbed the mast to bring it to the their rivals playing 'Walzing Mathilda' it brought back childhood memories about the 'Secret Valley' series which nobody remembers but me. Bloody hell,.. I must be getting old.
ReplyDeleteDeep Water (2006)
ReplyDeleteA documentary about the disastrous 1968 round-the-world yacht race.
